The most notable Linux release in January 2017 was port of critically acclaimed platformer Owlboy by D-pad studio. Fans of jrpg might have been pleased by PC re-release of Disgaea 2 by Nippon Ichi.

Since Valve took over the Christmas holidays, traditionally there aren't many big games scheduled for December. Whoever missed the release window during shopping season -- Shadow Tactics and The Dwarves, to be most precise -- they had to compete against upcoming Steam sales. As every time by the end of the year, Dec 2016 as well was reserved for the worst-of-the-worst "greenlit" shovelware.

Linux Release List has been updated for November 2016. After surprisingly weak September and October, this month brought us over half a dozen "must play" titles, and another half a dozen that would have excelled, not for the poor timing.

Linux Release List has been updated for October 2016. Fans of console action games have been no doubt delighted by the highly-rated Mad Max port by British Avalanche Studios and Feral Interactive.

At last, the massive update of the Linux Game-Dev DB has been completed today!

Since January 2015, there have been 842 Linux games added to the Trihlav db. As per my rules, visual novels, hidden-object games, early access and poorly performing shovelware has been excluded due to the time constrains. Not all of it, though.

Out of the 842 "well received" games, 721 have been made by different developers. In two years, 1.17 "good" games have been made per studio.
